General Info
The
SIENALINGUE is an International Center of Language,
Art, Culinary and Italian Culture in Siena. It was
founded in Siena in 1979. Since that time, we have been
welcoming students of a wide range of nationalities and all ages to
study language, art, culture and cookery in the center of this
charming medieval city. The School has been officially authorized
by the Italian Ministry of Education. Since 1990,
we represent
the Siena Committee of
the non-profit making cultural organization
Societ� Dante Alighieri. Founded in
Rome in 1889, the aim is to promote and sustain the knowledge of
Italian language and culture throughout the world.

Classrooms: 27 newly-renovated and well-lit classrooms of varying size for individual, mini-group and large classes. |

Library: Self-study centre and library, complete with video- and cassette- player and a wide selection of video- and audio- cassettes, supplementary coursework, books, etc. Continuously staffed until 18:00 (Mon – Thurs) and 17:00 on Fridays |

volevo ingraziarle per la Sua attenzione. La mia preoccupazione era di trovare una classe con gli studenti con un livello alto. Devo dire che il livello degli studenti nella classe per questa settimana era ottima. La sfida forse era di farli parlare nella classe. Mi garba trovarmi in una classe in cui e' difficile prendere la parola perche' tutti quanti vorrebbero participare attivamente. Alessandro e Alessandra hanno saputo questa settimana che ho un gusto per esprimermi in italiano. Ma che bella lingua! Dico di imparare il francese per fare penitenza. Per divertirsi cosi' tanto in una lingua dovrebbe essere un peccato e quindi la necessita' di fare penitenza! Ho visto tante belle parole scritte nella sala degli studenti e volevo augurarvi tutti alla scuola in bocca al lupo per trasmettere una vera passione per la lingua e la cultura italian agli studenti. Nel mio caso mi sono accorto che la mia conoscenza della lingua italiana e' veramente il mio cuore per l'Italia, gli italiani che conosco gia' e vorrei sempre conoscere piu' profondamente e tutti gli altri italiani che vorrei conoscere nel futuro.
