Attention: start dates are compulsory for absolute beginners only. Those with some knowledge of Italian can start on any Monday of the year.

General info

SCHOOL CLOSURE: Monday April 9th, Wednesday April 25th, Tuesday May 1st, Wednesday August 15th, Thursday November 1st, December 8th. Lessons on these days are not made up for. The school is closed the afternoon of July 2nd and August 16th for the Palio, but missed lessons will be held on other days. Christmas Holidays - The school will be closed from Saturday December 21st, 2012 to Sunday January 6th, 2013 inclusive.
TEACHING TIME: Lessons last 60 minutes, giving our students more teaching time.
NUMBER OF STUDENTS PER CLASS: In group courses the minimum number of students is 5; maximum 12; average 10
COURSE FEES INCLUDE: Didactic material except text books (book costs from € 20,00 to € 35,00 according to the level), certificate of attendance, full orientation upon arrival, social activities (except transportation fees, meals and entrance tickets), assistance with Police registration.
REGISTRATION FEES: € 20,00 per students for full placement testing (text book not included) will be added to the total fee.
ACCOMMODATION FEES: € 50,00 will be added to the total fee for accommodations arranged by the school.

Scholarships & favorable conditions: Every year the Italian language school, Dante Alighieri in Siena, offers several scholarships to Italian Culture Institutes, Dante Alighieri Committees, Clergy and consecrated orders, foreign Universities and Italian schools abroad.
